Lease End Options
What To Do When Your Lease is Coming to An End
If your Subaru lease is coming to an end, you have multiple options to proceed with. It is generally recommended to start planning for your lease-end options when you have 6 months or less remaining on your lease agreement. At Subaru of Glendale, we’ll make it as easy as possible to assist you with your decision, and make sure that you have all of the information to make the right choice for your lease situation.
1) Either trade in or return your leased Subaru and buy or lease a new Subaru
This option is convenient, easy, and best of all, you get to drive off in a brand new Subaru! You may be better off returning your leased vehicle to the leasing company or you may have equity, making it better to trade it in. We’ll be happy to help you figure out which option is best for you and show you the latest models and discuss your options. You may need to schedule a free vehicle inspection during the last two months of your lease and may be responsible for excess wear and use, excessive miles, and any other end-of-term obligations specified in your lease.
2) Return your leased Subaru to us even if you didn’t lease it here at Subaru of Glendale
If you decide to return your leased car to the leasing company without buying or leasing anything immediately, different leasing companies have different procedures. You may need to schedule a free vehicle inspection during the last two months of your lease. You will be responsible for any outstanding payments, excess wear and use, excessive miles, and any other end-of-term obligations specified in your lease agreement. For most leasing companies, we can help make it simple. Just visit our Los Angles Subaru Dealership and let us help with the necessary paperwork, even if you didn’t lease it here at Subaru of Glendale.
3) Purchase your leased Subaru
Buying your leased Subaru is a great way to continue benefiting from its reliability, performance, and high resale value. If you decide to buy your Subaru vehicle, you may not need to have it inspected, since generally there are no excess wear and use or excess mileage charges to worry about. Low financing rates and extended protection plans are generally available for lessees who wish to purchase their leased vehicle.
