Subaru has released pricing for the 2023 Subaru Solterra, the company’s first-ever all-electric SUV. The eagerly awaited Solterra is packed with revolutionary in-vehicle technologies while remaining loyal to Subaru’s tradition with industry-leading safety and go-anywhere capability. The 2023 Solterra will be available in three trim levels: Premium, Limited, and Touring, and will be available in limited quantities at Subaru dealers starting this summer.

Before a potential Federal tax credit of up to $7,500, the 2023 Solterra starts at $44,995 MSRP for the Premium trim level. 1, 2 In California, the Solterra may also be eligible for additional state incentives, including as single-rider carpool lane access. 3 The beginning manufacturer’s suggested retail price for the Limited trim is $48,495. The Touring trim is the most expensive, starting at $51,995. The 2023 Solterra has a destination and delivery charge of $1,225.

The new Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive system in the Solterra channels smooth linear output from Subaru StarDrive® Technology, delivering great traction and capabilities in all types of weather and terrain. With driver-selectable power and regeneration modes, Subaru StarDrive delivers significant on-demand torque at all speeds.

Front and rear electric motors combine to produce 215 horsepower and 249 pound-feet of torque in the all-new electric SUV. All trim levels of the Solterra have Dual-Function X-MODE® with Snow / Dirt and Deep Snow / Mud settings. Grip Control and Downhill Assist Control are also included in the system for improved performance in low-friction and off-road conditions. Solterra has the most ground clearance in its class at 8.3 inches. Better stability and handling are provided by standard Active Cornering Assist and Vehicle Stability Control. This combo offers off-road and city driving adaptability.

The high-capacity lithium-ion battery pack from Solterra delivers ample daily range. With its Level 2 AC and DC rapid charging capacity, the electric SUV can charge almost anywhere. Solterra can charge up to 80% of total battery capacity in just an hour using DC fast charging.
